Birch is a light wood with a very fine grain and is often used to make cabinets, furniture and hardwood floors
This plywood has an C grade on the front and a 2 grade on the back; a C grade allows unlimited pin knots and small burls, can contain up to eight repaired or sound knots up to 1/2 in diameter; allows unlimited mineral streaks and vine marks; a 2 grade can contain up to 16 sound tight knots not exceeding 3/4 in diameter and can contain repaired knot holes, rough cut veneer, and mineral streaks
Veneer Core plywood consists of a center veneer and crossband veneers alternately layered on both sides of the center to the desired thickness producing an odd number of veneers for the core; the weight-bearing strength of Veneer Core plywood is excellent along with its bending strength and screw-hold ability
The sheet has been finished/surfaced on both sides
