Compared to seed alone, your lawn will grow two times faster (when applied at the new lawn rate, subject to proper care). Use on either new lawns or overseeding existing grass. To apply, rake the top layer of soil before applying the product with a Scotts® spreader. For excellent results, apply this product in the spring or early summer when temperatures are consistently between 70 deg F and 90 deg F and the danger of frost has passed. Make sure to water twice daily for the first three weeks (or until seedlings reach 2 in H) to keep soil surface moist and avoid using weed control products until your lawn has been established (mowed at least four times). Finally, be sure to use Scotts® lawn food products every eight weeks through the season to maintain a thick, green lawn.
