1. What is the process for ordering cabinets with Owens Supply Company?
Customers are encouraged to make an appointment with the Kitchen, Bath, and Interiors Department to ensure that the staff are on site and prepared for a consultation.  The staff are frequently out on job sites measuring for cabinetry and/or floors.  The initial appointment may occur in your home depending on the situation.  After measurement, please allow the staff approximately 4-5 days to complete CAD drawings and put together a cabinet package for your home.  The KBI staff likes to give each customer the best options for their home.  While the staff is working on your drawings, they will also create a Pinterest site just for your project so that you can watch the design process 24 hours/day.  After the package has been put together, the staff will contact you for an in-office consultation to review the plans and provide you with perspective images of your cabinetry.

2. Does Owens Supply Company charge to measure my cabinets at my home?

8. How long does it typically take for cabinetry to arrive?
Cabinetry takes time to build and ship to ensure that we provide you with the best quality options.  Owens Supply Company doesn’t use a cabinet line that can be just taken off the shelf and given to you.  We take pride in our QUALITY products.  Lead times vary between companies.  The most typical lead time is 4-6 weeks.  Installations are pre-scheduled for all customers on a first come, first serve basis pending lead times.  Make sure you prepare in advance to ensure that you stay within your schedule of completion.

9. Will my countertops arrive with my cabinetry?
Countertops will not arrive with your cabinetry.  Installation is custom for any job.  Walls and floors are typically never square and require shifting or changes many times.  If countertops arrived with your cabinetry, the on-site changes cannot be compensated for.  However, we do try to limit the wait time as we understand that you will be without a finished area.

10. How long will it take for countertops to arrive?
FORMICA/WILSONART The staff typically pre-orders your tops so that they are on standby for cut after final measurements are taken.  The installer or staff will come out and take measurements of the tops after installation is complete. These countertops arrive to our warehouse every Tuesday.
SOLID SURFACE The staff will preschedule a tentative date for template on your countertop based upon scheduled installation completion date.  The countertop company will template these tops approximately 7-10 days after installation if not before.  The templates are then returned to the company for cut on the solid surface tops.  Installation typically will occur 7-10 days after template if not before.  Schedules vary depending on the number of customers requesting tops at any given time.

11. How long does an installation typically take for cabinetry?
Cabinet installation can take anywhere from 2-14 business days depending on the complexity of the kitchen.
